Asi said the gains in a v6 limited by the valve train wont be massive.. but if the current rods need replacing etc.. worth doing.. much easier to turbo or super charge any engine if power is the goal.. if improving the natually aspirated busso is the goal harder to achieve while retaining the N/A characteristic. ive done the above big turbos
Anaturally aspirated, high revving, great sounding Alfa engine. The shame is Alfa never gave us a modern RWD car with the Busso. The 3.0 and 3.2 deserved to have been in a RWD coupe with manual transmission. As nice as the Giulia is, it is still a 4-door large car. Most of them are 4-pot and diesels and automatic.
Allthe way down to the chrome intake runners. The โBussoโ V6 manages to make the car feel and sound a lot faster than it actually is, and thatโs not something every engine can accomplish.

Iam looking at buying my first Alfa and more specifically a Busso. Probably in the shape of a GT 3.2 V6 manual that seems to make the most sense. Supported Alfa Romeo Models.
