Guild Wars 2 has a complex and vibrant economic system, allowing players to buy and trade almost any item in the game. needing constant trips to the bank in order to free up the space.
You can only purchase 2 for a total of 7 bag slots. With only 5 character slots to start with that's 200 potential extra space without purchasing more characters slots. A new bank tab expansion costs 600 gems. Its gives you 30 more bank slots. It is also accessible to all of your characters. You need to pay gems for a mobile banker to access it
Inventory space is restricted, but with frequent management, it's enough for the base game. In terms of being limited in currency, yes and no. In GW2, the base currency, gold, is just one of many. You are not limited how much of that you can hoard. Others of this kind are Karma, Spirit Shards, currencies in PvP and WvW and some others.
It really isn't. You aren't going to pick up a new mmo and know exactly how the inventory/ecosystem/economy works in 10 seconds. This game has a ton of QoL features for managing/organizing immense amounts of loot in a few seconds. Give it some time and actually T to understand the game you are playing, you can do it.

Same goes for the wallet (which is a different tab in the inventory) - all those currencies just sit in there and don't take up space you could use for anything else so there's no need to clear them. Pressing the 'Deposit All Materials' button at the top of the inventory window will move any materials in a characters inventory into material
But yeah, generally speaking bank-wise I try to organise it according to what the items are. Consumables, equipment, random quest things, extra sigils/runes, leggie crafting, random boosters and Black Lion items (TP to friends, etc.), fractals junk (solid ocean bits and potions).
